Summary

The Freeman marketing team is looking for a Marketing Director to lead go-to-market efforts. In this role, you will drive development and execution of B2B marketing strategies and initiatives that support our brand-to-demand goals through a best-practice based approach. Your role will is to lead out go to marketing planning efforts. In addition, you will oversee our social strategy.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic marketer with a track record for creating breakthrough ideas that inspire audiences; encourage engagement and drive revenue. You are a skilled storyteller who brings an audience-focused, modern approach to building marketing strategies, campaigns, and programs that create results at scale. You are hands on, and you excel at creating smart strategy and tactical execution and know how to guide teams in the development of great work.

This position will support our Marketing team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop Marketing Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans and aligned with Freeman’s business objectives and target audience. Apply audience insights and analytics to deliver marketing campaigns that both inspire and achieve business & marketing goals. Update marketing plans quarterly; incorporate marketing wins, performance metrics and highlights. Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and tactics.

  • Develop Campaign Strategies: Develop overall campaign strategy aligned to key customer messages and journeys. Ensure consistency across all marketing channels. This includes brand and line of business messaging to enhance brand awareness and reputation. Evaluate the performance of campaign efforts and adjust strategies as needed to improve return on investment (ROI).

  • Partnership and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing operations, sales, product management, and customer service, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals.

  • Social Media Strategy: Define and manage our social strategy, ensuring we are continually innovating across all channels, achieving engagement and audience growth goals.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the marketing department, encouraging teamwork and creativity. Set clear goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual team members and evaluate performance regularly.

  • Drive marketing innovation and creativity. Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing. Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and improvement to stay ahead of competitors and meet evolving consumer needs.

  • As a key member of a dynamic team, you will own and manage special projects.

Education & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience and a proven track record of success and achievement associated with results-oriented, campaigns and plans.

  • Proven experience in marketing leadership roles, with a track record of driving successful marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • Fast learner with a positive demeanor and willingness to try new things.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, as well as experience with marketing analytics and CRM systems.

  • Exceptional communication and people/program management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and grow your team is essential.

  • Bias for timely, decisive action.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
