Summary

We are currently seeking an Experience Specialist to reimagine our experiences. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who likes to build from scratch, drive results, and is passionate about connecting people to meaningful and impactful experiences.

The Experience Specialist will use design thinking principles to create exceptional employee experiences by designing, supporting, implementing, and evaluating experience programs and initiatives. Our Experience team designs programs across the career journey from candidate to alumni and across the three elements of experience – Organizational, Social and Work Experience.

This position will support our Human Resources team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX; however, we are also open to candidates based out of:

  • Chicago, IL

  • Las Vegas, NV

  • Orlando, FL

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and implement new or enhanced programs which deliver the optimal experience across the career journey

  • Utilize design thinking to implement new and ongoing, iterative improvements to programs

  • Monitor the pulse of our people continually to ensure we are delivering the best possible experience

  • Collect and analyze data and metrics related to experience

  • Design and implement feedback mechanisms including surveys, focus groups, one-on-one engagement to assess employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop action plans based on employee listening insights, data analysis, and key performance indicators that build trust through action, improve the employee experience, and support our key business and talent goals.

  • Develop personas so Freeman delivers personalized and relevant experiences to our diverse team

  • Partner with program owners and related stakeholders throughout the design and implementation process

  • Evaluate existing programs with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Create resources, employee or leader guides, and other materials to enable program implementation

  • Leverage change enablement and communications strategies and approaches to ensure awareness, understanding, action and success related to program implementation

  • Oversee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure new hires feel welcome and supported.

  • Steward the company’s purpose, values and culture

  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends related to employee experience.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year accredited institution is required

  • Experience utilizing design thinking principles and program design/implementation

  • Strong knowledge of experience methodologies such as design thinking, journey mapping and the employee lifecycle, and moments that matter

  • Positivity and resourcefulness with a get-it-done attitude

  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities with meticulous attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal communications, including written and verbal communication skills, effective communication across multiple levels and personas

  • Ability to exercise creativity, strategic thinking and a passion to drive our culture, inclusivity and focus on creating meaningful employee experiences

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability

  • Ability to find innovative and creative ways to approach employee experience

  • Strong technology knowledge and capability to leverage technology to reduce friction in the experience
