Summary

The Supervisor – Quality Control leads an Event Tech warehouse team responsible for the maintenance of required equipment for the purpose of flawless execution of events. This role will be the driving force for operational excellence and adjudicating sound fiscal decisions to maximize profits and provide technical excellence of rental equipment. This position requires strong people leadership, communication, and technical skills.

This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Dallas, TX.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise a small team of full-time, part-time, and contingent quality control and service staff to include management of: Scheduling, Payroll, Performance Appraisals, Safety

  • Policies, Expense Reports, Customer Service and Operational Polices

  • Supervise readiness of rental equipment to ensure cosmetic and functional excellence

  • Supervise the intake of equipment and prioritize the staging of outbound equipment

  • Supervise the stocking and replenishment of repair parts, accessories and ancillaries required to return equipment to a rentable state

  • Form, vet and accelerate innovations in QC tooling, practices and execution

  • Partner with cross-divisional teams to support recruiting, training/development, and staffing of warehouse staff

  • Ensure sound safety and risk policies and procedures through assigned areas

  • Drive Operational Excellence through careful oversight and reporting of KPIs, regular quality audits and other measures

  • Provide recommendations on Capital Expenditure and planning

  • Promote teamwork and communication between all warehouse operations

  • Assists other departments as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalency.

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience within event production and/or warehouse operations
