Encore is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to coordinate sub-rentals and assists in control of vendor services for the Hotels Division. Additional duties include:
Interfaces with Hotel offices to obtain information regarding property specific sub-rental needs
Receives incoming Short Lists from Hotel offices
Identifies if equipment is available for Hotel to Hotel transfer and notifies the appropriate Hotel offices to arranges for a Hotel to Hotel transfer when available
Inputs information to create Purchase Orders for sub-rentals at the request of Hotel offices if requested equipment is not available internally
Verifies requested PO complies with internal pricing policies
Verifies Hotel compliance with preferred vendor practices
Verifies vendor compliance with established pricing discounts
Researches discrepancies between sub-rental PO and corresponding vendor invoices as needed
Maintains vendor and PO files and records
All other duties as assigned
Minimum 2 years of customer service or administrative assistant/data processing experiencing
Minimum 2 years of hotel/hospitality audiovisual experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED
