Guide, develop, support, and supervise a region of Exhibit Operations branch teams to align with overall company goals and strategies. Monitor and make recommendations to processes specific to Exhibit Operations in order to ensure our external engagements are customer centric and our workflow throughout the organization is efficient. Participate in setting the overall strategic vision for Exhibitor Operations.
Focus on driving consistency in process across all Exhibit Operations branch teams.
Collaborate with sales/account teams in defining project scope, goals and deliverables for net new and existing business.
Ensure Exhibit Operations provides the highest level of customer service to our customers.
Develop consistent policies and procedures across all Exhibit Operations Team; conduct branch audits and resolve potential issues.
Partner with learning to build standard training and development curriculum and implement for corporate and branch exhibit operations team members.
Support on-boarding efforts for branch locations not yet up and running with Exhibit Operations
Stay ahead of potential labor shortages within the region and identify opportunities where labor and personnel can be shared across the enterprise.
Strategically support labor consistency initiatives with repeat customers.
Ensure Exhibit Operations initiatives, reporting capabilities and Exhibit Operations applications achieve corporate objectives.
Serve as subject matter expert representing Exhibit Operations and liaising with other departments to improve efficiencies, determine strategies, and streamline procedures.
Align Client Solutions Managers, Client Solutions Sales (Solutions/Hunter team), Operations, and Freight Operations to create a more singular approach to the execution, billing and follow-up with our customers.
Participate, on occasion, in specific event involvement.
Participate in personnel evaluations and branch interactions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 10 or more years of operations related experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience
10 or more years of personnel, budgetary, supervisory, and operational management experience.
Background should include internal and external customer relations as well as operations experience.
A clear understanding of how to meet customers’ needs in trade show industry
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
50% travel for periods of up to two weeks at a time.
