FREEMAN Client Solutions Manager - Sponsor Relationships in San Francisco, California

SUMMARY

The Client Solutions Manager – Sponsor Relationships manages sponsor relations, to ensure sponsorship benefits are implemented according to contracts. Ensures sponsors are aware of all deadlines and submission requirements for their specific sponsorship. Works closely with sales account managers to ensure a smooth transition from sales to fulfillment. Role requires onsite support of various programs and executive summary of each program with SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Additional duties include:

Program Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for designated events for sponsorship fulfillment

  • Engage with event operations leads for each workstream to ensure that all sponsorship benefits are implemented pre/during/post event

  • Create and manage sponsorship production timelines work with all teams as necessary

  • Work with ERC (Exhibitor Resource Center) and ensure systems are set up to support your program (if this is not possible elevate challenges to Account Director)

  • Organizes regular cadence calls (if needed) with event leads to facilitate clear lines of communication

  • Coordinates approvals where needed on sponsor materials and get these in writing (via email or proofs)

  • Ensures timely delivery of all necessary components, properties, and materials for each event

  • Provides set-up assistance and on-site support as required

  • Create readiness deck so that you can outline specific scope of work and deliverables before you set off for the event

  • Post-Event: provides reports for each regional event to include final numbers and survey results and SWOT

Account Management

  • Gain 100% clarity on assignment for each project and ensure there is a clear scope of work and deliverables outlined

  • Follow the Statement of Work to client and ensure no part of the program is changed without approval of the manager

  • Operate as the main point of contact for assigned sponsor accounts, which may change by show

  • Maintains regular communication with accounts via email and recurring cadence calls to manage any and all matters specific to fulfillment of sponsorship contracts

  • Respond to all emails within 24 hours

  • Escalate any problems with fulfillment and/or account to Account Director within 24 hours

  • Provide onsite support at events to ensure all aspects of sponsorship are implemented

  • Ensure proper approvals are secured for sponsor messages, as necessary

  • Create post-event sponsorship debrief PowerPoint decks with SWOT (SWOT for internal teams)

Miscellaneous

  • Maintains consistent and thorough communication with internal team, client, and accounts

  • Update internal team weekly of any challenges and collaborate with team as needed

  • Manage all material on BOX –real time for access to documents 24/7

  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the event space

  • Event program management experience

  • Experience in managing vendors, people and timelines

  • Demonstrated customer service and organizational skills

  • Ability to quickly recognize or anticipate problem areas and quickly develop solutions

  • Flexible, self-motivated, energetic, and uses time productively and efficiently

  • Exhibits an outgoing, upbeat personality, enjoys working as part of a team, and is efficient, considerate, and organized, with a keen eye for details

  • A proven attention to excellent customer service with proven written and verbal communication

  • Demonstrated and proficient skills with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
